Sweden enjoys a temperate climate due to the Gulf Stream, despite its northern latitude. The best time for most visitors to travel to Sweden is from May to September, when the days are longer and warmer. Winter time is also a good time to visit for ski enthusiasts, as downhill and cross-country skiing are popular sports in Sweden.
